Okay, so I have been one of the few hold outs that has not jumped on the Twitter train, yet. But today, I took the plunge.
I set up an account, played with it for a bit and I think I may be hooked… I can twitter from my Mac and my Blackberry. Just what I need, huh, another cool tech toy to distract me. But I guess that is what life is all about.
So, yeah, if you are at all curious as to what I am up to or where I am at any given moment, check me out. My twitter is twitter.com/coreyblaser
Have fun, and maybe you will “accidentally” run into me.
[edit]
Okay, so I was just watching Fargo. I consider it one of the best movies of all time. Unfortunately, I don’t own it… I don’t know why it is not in my massive collection, but it is not. So, I am watching it on a local channel, and I am skipping through the commercials on my Tivo, like I usually do. and I get to the end, well almost. There is about fifteen minutes left, and what happens!? An old episode of Star Trek comes on… So naturally I rewind to make sure that I did not skip too far, and yeah. The end is sure enough cut clean off. o_O
So, now I have to wait until tomorrow to go to FYE and buy it just to see the last fifteen minutes. The same thing happened to me when I was watching Fight Club once. I don’t know why these movies are not in my library when this happens, but they aren’t.
I have two hundred and seventy movies, half are action and the other half are chick flicks… Why? I don’t know. Maybe we should ask one of my other personalities why I have more than a hundred chick flicks, because I don’t even like them. (except maybe Wimbledon, and Thirteen going on thirty and maybe How to loose a guy… No, stop it Corey. Be a man.)
Okay, so I like them. Is that bad? Hmmm… I like to decorate my house, I like curtains, I like cats, I like potpourri and I like sappy movies. But I still like loud music, rare steaks, beautiful women, technology and sports cars. I consider myself well balanced. The Special K of guys.
Anyway, sorry for the tangent, I was all into Fargo, and now a bit angsty because of missing the end. I should go and eat something else too, the PF Chang’s Kung Pow Chicken and Lettuce Wraps I had last night was good, but I did not have a lot left over… Anybody else realize how much fun it is to say Kung Pow Chicken. KUNG POW, KUNG-Pow, kungPOW… yeah, everybody was Kung Pow fighting. There should be a comic book hero named after this “The Kung Pow CHICKEN!!!” and his side kick “The golden nugget.”
Have a good week all. :]

I am a bit pissed today. An individual that I consider one of my friends and one of my more favorite photographers found it necessary to remove his art from dA this week. The reason?! Art theft.
Why is this a problem you might ask… we all “borrow” music. We download movies from ThePirateBay… Well, I think it is kind of the same. People get hurt, not physically, but financially and sometimes emotionally.
The later is kind of the case here. He has had images ‘ripped’ before, we all have. That is part of the reason my real portfolio is not up here. But he had decided to let the world in to his camera lens and to see what he saw. No holds barred.
So, anyway on to the story. Some punk girl, who I might add is in photography school none the less and should have know better, STOLE an image from his account, modified it in a very derogatory and demeaning way to the subject, then proceeded to post it on another very popular website for the world to see and mock. The image was of a girl who was only maybe 8 years old.
So that brings me to todays lesson kiddies;
IF YOU DID NOT TAKE THE FRIGGIN’ PICTURE, DID NOT PAY FOR IT AND DID NOT GET THE PHOTOGRAPHERS PERMISSION THEN IT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!!! <– The Simple of it.
You have no right to touch other peoples stuff, unless they give you permission. I assumed we all learned that way back in grade school when the bully tried to steal our milk money. It was wrong then, and it is wrong now.
You are not the exception, you are not special, you cannot do that.
So, if you still like me after reading my soap box, well great, add me to your , but if you don’t because you have justified in your mind that stealing is okay, well then piss off.
