I guess I am just sitting here missing an old girlfriend I had. Wow, I am so pathetic, that was ten years ago. I did something stupid, I think, and did not even get a “why” when she left. I am a guy, I assume I did something to piss her off, but for crying out loud, I don’t know what it was. I thought that is what closure is for. She gets to yell at me and tell me that I was an ass and then leave. Not leave me broken, lost and then just disappear.

Well, anyway, I have a good job doing contract creative for one of the internets largest. A decent paycheck and now the exposure to win a couple of awards. Unfortunately, I am under non-disclosure until the software is launched. I will be sure to put my goods up here so you can all see when it is done.

Oh, and my cat Cassanova is sitting here trying to climb on my laptop, so I guess that means “meow” from him.

Today in History - Oct, 19th

1781, British General Charles Cornwallis surrendered his army of some 8,000 men to General George Washington at Yorktown, giving up any chance of winning the Revolutionary War. Cornwallis had marched his army into the Virginia port town earlier that summer expecting to meet British ships sent from New York. The ships never arrived.
